Numo Cafe

The client in his late twenties or early thirties, is new to business and setting up his first café venture in Al Ghubaiba, one of Dubai’s oldest and most historic districts known for its high footfall near the main bus station and a mall. The space, currently a double-height shell, offers great natural light but no finishes. He wants a minimal, airy café serving bubble tea and coffee, with ready-to-eat Japanese snacks displayed like in Starbucks no cooking or kitchen setup. The design should include a brewing and preparation counter, dry storage, a sink, trash area, cashier, limited but comfortable seating, and greenery especially in the ceiling. He prefers a clean, “milky white” aesthetic with light, Scandinavian-Japanese-inspired furniture, though maintenance and practicality need to be considered due to heavy foot traffic. The project falls under the RTA (Roads and Transport Authority), so all materials and finishes must comply with fire-rating and government regulations. . Deliverables include mood boards, layout plans, still renders (no walkthrough), and a façade view with signage once the logo and branding are shared.
